Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer has confirmed that. He actually plans to stay at Manchester City in the future and is only looking to join the club on loan this season. Before being informed by the club that he had only the option of staying or leaving permanently.

“I never wanted to leave City,” Palmer told Sky Sports’ Patrick Davison.

“That was not my intention. I want to go on loan for a year and then come back and prepare for the first team.”
